Hello.
It's been a long time. I'm supposed to be writing weekly reflections for my clinical postings now but its Week 8 and I'm almost out of things and words to write, to squeeze out. One more week, just one more. I really enjoy the whole clinical posting, but the weekly reflections and case study are seriously a drudgery. Such a spoiler for the precious Day Offs.
I feel like I no longer know how to put my feelings into words. Or, what is worthy to be put into words? Or, are my words worthy of my experiences? I think its more the latter. Ha ha. Nevertheless, in this whole time that I left this space neglected, I had the best two years of my life. It really felt like growing up.
We're all no longer meeting as often as we once did, no longer talking as often as we once did, although technology is supposed to be making everyone so much more interconnected than we once were. Weekends (Day Offs, in my case) become such a precious breather and rarity that you want to spend it with no one but yourself, or with just those closer to your heart. Perhaps that is because we no longer have as much time on our hands as we once did? I wonder if time is simply an excuse we give ourselves or that we simply need/rely on each other lesser, now.
I'm not making much sense, but anyway I just think each day passes way too quickly. Soon I will be 70. Ha ha ha. Okay I should start on my reflections. Today is not TGIF cuz I'll be working over the weekends :/ on the brighter side, my last weekends!
I feel like eating Carls' Jr tonight.
